Weekdays
Associate Claims & Risk Analyst
This is my day job. I review claims and assess risk, so I'm used to details, deadlines and planning for what could go wrong.
Producer. I build the plan, wrangle the people, stretch the budget, and make sure the show actually goes up.
A quick note
Thanks for introducing me.
Hi, Slow Theater board! I'm Elie, a producer who loves making things happen on small budgets and tight clocks. In 2024 I produced nine projects, including a live film festival, and I'd love to help bring your game shows, variety nights and immersive shows to life.
The pitch
Everything I love about producing gets more fun when there's an audience in the room: a clock you can't stop, a budget you have to be clever with, and a crowd you want to leave buzzing.
As executive producer and events coordinator of SMASH Film Festival 2024, I produced a live event for a real audience, on a $2,000 budget.
I've produced eight short films for under $1,000 each, most of them for under $200. Low-budget, high-fun programming is exactly how I like to work.
#Plugged In was made for a 48 Hour Film Festival: idea to finished film in two days. Curtain times don't move either, and I like that pressure.
I'm a Dungeon Master with a campaign running right now, and I build my own tools to run it: story tracking, character tracking, visuals. Immersive theater is basically a campaign with a bigger table.

Communication taught me how to pitch, run a team and keep everyone on the same page. Finance taught me how to build a budget, price tickets and make every dollar count. Producing uses both every day.
